After completing the courses of studies “Translation and interpreting”(baccalaureate) and “Specialist translation and terminology” (master’s degree “Magister”) with distinction at the Centre for Translation Studies of
the University of Vienna, my professional career started at Audi in Ingolstadt, Germany.

As a terminologist, I was responsible, amongst other things, for harmonising the terminology within the VW group as well as administrating and maintaining the multilingual Group terminology databases.
In addition, I gained experience in projects aimed at rationalising and optimising the technical documentation and translation processes within and across departments, divisions and brands.

In 2010, I set up my own business and have been working as a specialist translator and terminologist in the languages German, English, Spanish and Italian ever since.

During my time with Audi and my long professional career as a translator I was able to acquire comprehensive technical expertise, particularly in the fields of automotive engineering and technical documentation. Today, I regularly work for well-known companies in the automotive and motorcycle industry, but also in mechanical engineering, the fitness, food and fashion industry and many other sectors.
